Suggestions For A Revisit To The Finale Nerfs

I posted this on /r/darkestdungeon, but I figured that I'd post it here as well:

In my opinion, there are better ways to balance Finale. For example, you can change the 12-round (seriously, wtf?) dodge debuff to a speed, dodge, damage, and/or accuracy debuff until the end of the battle; revert the damage nerf, and instead give it terrible accuracy, with other moves instead giving it an accuracy buff; or, my personal favorite idea, have it apply horror to himself (or the party) until the end of the battle, as punishment for a premature “finale” - you could even make it irremovable by Laudanum (like the Shieldbreaker’s horror in her nightmare) if it need be.
I just think there are much better ways to balance Finale than how it was.
